Wheels for Wellbeing (charity number: 1120905) empowers Disabled people to transform their physical and emotional wellbeing through the provision of inclusive cycling. No matter their age and/or Disability, we ensure that anyone can enjoy it as a form of exercise. Participants have the freedom to use our fleet of over 200 cycles – trikes, tandems, go-karts, side-by-sides and many more!
We run five inclusive cycling sessions every week at our three hubs in South London: Herne Hill Velodrome, Croydon Sports Arena and Ladywell Sports Hall. We also run tailored inclusive cycling sessions for specific groups of Disabled people, including children and those with dementia.
In addition, we have become the recognised voice of Disabled cyclists through our campaigning efforts. Lobbying politicians and influencing transport infrastructure organisations are just some of the many things we do to make cycling more inclusive for everyone – whether for transport, leisure or exercise!
Our work would not be possible without people like you
