Sessions are restarting at the Velodrome!

We’re thrilled to announce that our cycling sessions at Herne Hill Velodrome will be restarting on Monday 3rd August!

(Note: our sessions at Croydon Sports Arena and Ladywell Day Centre will unfortunately remain suspended for the time being, as these venues are not yet open to the public)

July has been our trial month, with Wheels for Wellbeing inviting a few chosen participants to attend Monday sessions at the Velodrome as a way of helping us test the COVID-19 safety measures in place. After much success over the past few weeks (see quote below), we can say with confidence that we are ready to restart our sessions at the venue.

“Emma and the incredible WFW team at the Velodrome have worked extremely hard and delivered a fantastic cycling session for all cyclists today and we are all truly appreciative of all their efforts, help, support and positive energy.”

Please be aware that Wheels for Wellbeing’s cycling sessions will no longer be operating on a drop-in basis. We have made various changes, including a booking system with time slots (prioritising for participants who cycled with us before), new rules and COVID-19 protocol to help keep everyone safe. If you would like to return to cycling, you must click the following link and read the information: https://wheelsforwellbeing.org.uk/session-alterations/

We can’t wait to welcome you back very soon!
