UPDATE: WHEELS FOR WELLBEING CHRISTMAS APPEAL!

We posted about our Christmas appeal back at the start of January, stating that £992.75 had been raised with an extremely kind donor (who would like to remain anonymous) pledging to match fund. An amount of £1,000 has now been received from this individual, and so we would like to give them our thanks for making such a generous contribution.

Amazingly, the Ajahma Trust also reached out and donated £10,000 to Wheels for Wellbeing. As the Trust is closing down soon, the Trustees “reviewed charities to whom grants had been made over the years and selected [our] organisation as one of the most outstanding”. We are so pleased to hear that the impact we have on the lives of Disabled people remains in the hearts and minds of funders and grant making bodies!

Combining the donations from our fundraising page on Virgin Money Giving, the match funding and the Ajahma Trust, we have managed to raise a total of £11,992.75 for our Christmas appeal! Thank you for everyone who contributed – we wouldn’t have been able to raise this much without your support!
