Support from generous couple

Generous couple ask friends to support Wheels for Wellbeing instead of wedding presents.

Alison and Philip got married last month, and amazingly, asked their friends and family not to buy them wedding presents but to donate to charity. They each had special charities they wanted to support and Alison’s charity of choice was Wheels for Wellbeing (Alison is herself a Disabled cyclist and is a staunch supporter of our campaigning work). As a result they donated an amazing £500 to us!!

This donation will enable us to subsidise 50 Disabled cyclists’ attendances at any of our sessions over the year. This provides tangible support to us, enabling us to keep our entry fee affordable for our participants (we charge £5, with a supporter coming free of charge, though the actual cost is £15 per person).

We want to thank Alison and Philip from the bottom of our hearts and we wish them decades of happiness together (and of course, happy cycling!!).
