Introducing our new Herne Hill Session Manager, Simon

Simon joined us over the summer as the session manager at our Herne Hill Velodrome cycling sessions.

Simon has been working within the inclusive cycle sphere for about seven years. Before joining the world of inclusive cycling Simon worked in IT. Since leaving his desk job he says that “working outside has been a god send“. The thing he likes most about working in inclusive cycling is watching the smiles on people’s faces as they ride around and witnessing people take their first ride as they discover that they can ride, be that a trike, bike or go kart.

Simon says he’s passionate about “promoting cycling as a mix of leisurely exercise and learning advanced cycling skills. I am therefore pleased to be joining such a diverse team, working with our participants to continue promoting the benefits of cycling”

He is looking forward to getting to know those who have been using the services for years and also welcoming new users.
