Leave A Gift in Your Will
We want to create a world without barriers to cycling, where disabled and older people are healthier, more mobile and more independent. If you want to help us make this a reality you could consider leaving us gift in your will, and be a part of our future.
Leaving us a gift in your will does not cost you anything now but will make a significant difference to our work. It helps us plan for the future and continue to expand our work providing cycling opportunities for disabled and older people.
How to a legacy gift in your will
You should get everything checked by a financial advisor or solicitor before you begin writing or updating your will.
Below are some legacy gifts you could consider:
Residuary gift – A gift of the entire amount or a proportion of what is left over when all other gifts and taxes have been paid from your estate. Even 1% could make a significant difference.
Pecuniary gift – A specified amount which is left to a named person, charity or other beneficiary.
Specific gift -The gift of a specific item liken item of jewellery, art or property, rather than a sum of money. The item must be described exactly and the name and address of the person or organisation to whom the gift has been left should be given.
If you are thinking about leaving us a gift in your will please let us know. This will help us plan for the future.
Updating your will
If you already have a written will you can update it to include Wheels for Wellbeing. All you need to do is add a codicil, which is a separate instruction that is kept with your will.
